Our Story
In 2021 we started Tilt as a small team of counter-disinformation warriors with nothing but a shared desire to disrupt the use of computational propaganda that was being used to shape public attitudes, polarize opinion and reduce trust in our democratic processes. With the heavy presence of social media in our lives, we could see how the volume of online manipulation was fast becoming a pervasive and ubiquitous part of everyday life.
Since then our international team has grown and we’ve developed a range of solutions from serious games to AI-powered services, that help tackle online manipulation head on.
We exist to empower critical literacy for everyone and inspire future generations to come, working with organisations such as The U.S. Department of State’s Global Engagement Center, NATO, The European Commission, and The UK Cabinet Office.
